Generic FTP Instructions

In general, you will need to supply some or all of the following information to your FTP or web design software in order to connect to your site.

HOSTNAME: yourdomain.com -or- your IP address

USERNAME: The one you use for the Control Center, see Welcome Letter

PASSWORD: The current Control Center password for the account

INITIAL DIRECTORY/FOLDER (some packages may request this): 'yourdomain-www' or simply 'www' which is a shortcut

PORT: (should be set to this by default): 21

For any problems with your FTP software, please refer to the documentation that came with it. We cannot provide support for 3rd-party products.
