What is Domain Parking?

Domain Parking is the use of multiple domain names to get to the same set of content. For example, lets say you have a website, 'abc.com'. You also own the domain name 'xyz.com'. If you want both domain names to end up at the same place, you would purchase a Parked Domain for 'xyz.com'. Many people do this when they register the .net, .org, etc. versions of their existing domain name.

How does it work?

All traffic aimed at the Parked Domain will flow through to the 'Master Domain'. This includes email. If someone sends mail to mailbox_name@parked_domain.com, it will flow through to mailbox_name@master_domain.com and follow the rule in Mail Manager for 'mailbox_name'. People who point their browser to the Parked Domain will see its name in the title bar of their browsers as well.

How much does it cost? How long does it take to set up?

Parked Domains cost $19 (one-time fee) and there is no monthly charge. Fill out the form below and we will activate your Parked Domain right away! NOTE: as it is a manual process, please allow up to 24 hours for your parked domain to be fully set up in our system. Don't forget to point your parked domain name at our nameservers with your registrar! Allow 2-3 days for propagation time if you are transferring a domain name to our servers.
