A. We provide top-quality support via our Assistance

and callers will be directed to enter a ticket for fastest service.
Our Assistance
Center is staffed by over
40 technicians, all of whom can resolve your problem or answer
your questions without escalating your ticket to another department.
We have no "Level 1" technicians here - everyone you
deal with has the ability to help you on the first try!
There are also many ways to obtain self-support, most notably
our comprehensive Support
Library. Real-life questions and answers to many issues are
found at the Knowledge
Base. See our Support
policies page for more details.

A. Our sales and support office is located in Brevard County,
Florida, on the beautiful "Space Coast". We are in the
Eastern Time Zone. Our servers are housed in a state-of-the-art
network center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Q.
How long have you been in business? Who is the owner?
A. The parent company of 5DollarHosting.com® is Mayers Enterprises
Inc., and the company is operated by the owners. We have been
in the computer consulting and web design business since 1995.
5DollarHosting.com® has been doing business since 1998.
Q.
There are a lot of hosts out there - what makes you any different?
A. Here are a few reasons we're a little bit different:
-
Being owner-operators, and not just employees, we'll go out of
our way to keep you a happy customer. We want you to tell all
your friends how wonderful we treated you!
- You also won't get lost in the crowd or be treated like a number,
like you might at some very large companies. We're a successful
hosting company, but we'll never have so many clients that we
can't take excellent care of them all. That's a promise we've
kept since our inception. Sound business and hiring practices
mean longevity for our firm. Our company has been providing web
hosting continuously since 1998.
- Our
reputation means everything to us.
In a crowded marketplace, you are known by your service. We are
proud of our hard-earned reputation for fairness and excellent
service. Don't just take our word for it, either - check
a review here, see for yourself by doing a search on our company
name at Google
or other search engine, visit the Merchant
Spotlight and ask around. We already know what you'll find
out, but you may want to hear it for yourself!
- We offer a substantially better product than anyone else at
this price. The plans have all the features you'd expect at a
lower price than you'd expect. Tools are not "held hostage"
like at some other companies. You'll never need to upgrade because
you need a particular feature. You'll only upgrade as you grow
your site.
- We offer incredible levels of support considering the price.
Over 60 pages of Support documentation await you in the Support
Library, covering every tool in the Control Center and then
some. The Knowledge
Base is full of troubleshooting tips, how-tos, and real-life
questions and answers. And of course the Assistance
Center is there when you can't find what you need on our site.
