Telnet
(SSH) Access Request
To
access your account via Telnet, you must use a secure SSH client
(we recommend SecureCRT available from http://www.vandyke.com).
More information is avaialable on our SSH
Information page.
Also,
you must agree to abide by the SSH Access
Agreement. Read the agreement below, and submit your request
form. We will consider your request and you will receive an email
shortly with the information you will need to activate Telnet/SSH.
SSH
ACCESS AGREEMENT
SSH
access is granted to select users who have some experience using
the command line interface, and who have demonstrated a genuine
need for this service. Because Telnet is unsecure, we require
that you access your account via SSH. You will be unable to use
your account with a standard Telnet client.
This
agreement may be revoked for misuse of the privilege, including
but not limited to:
-
Attempted access to any account other than your own, including
the Root folder of the server
- Running excessive CRON jobs or other processes that trigger
the CPU usage alarms.
Please note that all SSH sessions are logged, including keystrokes.
We reserve the right to terminate or modify this agreement without
notice.
We also reserve the right to revoke SSH priveleges for any user
at our sole discretion.
